Actually, I think the media now has a chance to redeem itself and finally locate its spine. Palin may have exceeded expectations tonight, but will she hold up under even the most polite MSM questioning? How long can she hide from the networks and newspapers? I think more shoes will drop, not all of them red, peep-toe pumps.

Be careful - while looking for blood you might have to give her credit for the bigger issues like getting more royalty money out of the oil giants and then - amazingly - refunding about 1,200.00 per resident back to Alaskans.

When is the first or last time any state send money back to ALL residents? I can't rember ever getting 10.00 back from Olympia even when they have had billions in surpluses. Bureaucrats suck it up, always.

This is one canny lady. One interesting line from last night - she is the MOST popular gov. in America. Wish Gregoire had her punch, polling stats and political savvy.

Putting together a natural gas pipeline, 20 billion, impressive. Vast amount of natural gas out there, getting to market has always proven he problem. It is a clean fuel. This woman radiates action not blah blah political talk.

However you work the non issue, that bridge has not been built. The rest is nit picking and boring saga for political nerds and silly bloggers.

Did you catch how she looked right into the camera and promised the families with special needs children that with her in DC they would have better support and, " an advocate, I promise."

Masterful, there are millions of those folks who get more bullshit from the system than real help. It was a Kennedy moment at the R. convention. Rose Kennedy and the whole family changed the issue back when, as one of the Kennedy girls was retarded. Matriarch Rose never hesitated to talk about the matter in public, showing amazing courage and leadership for that era.

This race has changed to the max, and I think it will be a contest to election day.

I support Obama. I hope his people are on the ground big time in ten states.

By he way, Mc Cain will not dump her for any reason. She is a double ace by any standard.

Wikipedia sez that Alaska has no individual income or sales taxes so how could Palin have raised them? What does she know about the taxation of anywhere?
