I think it would be a lot shorter of a flight to come over the Atlantic, then to fly over Siberia and the Pacific and then over North America to get to say DC.

@19 I was just thinking about that, how the only way we finally got any of our national media (and we're getting all excited about Katie Couric and The View here, guys) to crack down on these Republican disasters was just chance--John McCain decided to change his style of talking to the media and clammed up. If he was still out there charming them all with his "straight talk" they would be continuing to write fluffy puff pieces on both of them. So now it's personal vendetta, not out of any respect for, you know, the Truth. This is profoundly sad and it pisses me off.

And while I've watched these painful blunders with glee, like the rest of you, the polls are kinda saying it might be too late. The alternative, which is that America could have seen some hard questions and ridiculous answers months or weeks ago and it would have made no difference...that's honestly too much for me to take.
