I think this is a great idea, and I hope they bring the trial run to Seattle, as they've done with Shrek. Also, I hope they can somehow convince Christian Bale to reprise his film role. His performance made American Psycho, in my opinion, one of the few book-to-film adaptations that completely blows away its source material in terms of quality.... I just re-watched American Psycho recently and it is great no matter how many times you see it. I think my favorite part is the long riff he does about Genesis. Or maybe the weird business card comparison scene. Or...oh fuck it's all good.
