Latest McCain Attack

posted by on September 9 at 17:27 PM

That scary black man running for president? He wants to fuck the shit out of your kids.

UPDATE: Oh, I see that Eli has this up already. You snooze, you lose. And it’s great that Obama camp came out swinging in its response to the latest attack from ain’t-no-blow-low-enough McCain campaign. Especially liked this line:

Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn’t define what honor was. Now we know why.

Good—attack McCain’s for his complete lack of honor, as evidenced by the way he’s conducting his presidential campaign. Right fucking on. But when, I wonder, is the McCain camp going to have to issue a response to an attack from the Obama campaign?

My formative school years (K through 2) were spent mastering magic markers and cursive script.

It wasn't until 6th Grade, when Ms. P, a slim young biology teacher from Queens College entered our academic life at St. Anthony of Padua, that "reproduction" entered my consciousness.

Then again, I refused to wear bell bottoms until 1975.

Guess I'm a Slow Learner...

Clearly the GOP does not want schools to teach kindergardeners about sex; they want to let their youth pastors do that sort of thing.

More likely the scary black man wants to get his daughters breedin' young to swamp the master race with a sea of lil' sambos.
I think it's time for Obama to subtly play the race card. Run a spot with a couple of boomer women talking about how when they were working with the civil rights movement as kids they never thought they'd see the day when America would overcome it's racist tendencies and elect a black man president. It would play the race card while sticking to the moral high ground.

When McCain compromised on US torture policy, I took it as a signal that there was nothing that he wouldn't do to become president.

If the "liberal" media was truly biased as FOX likes to portray it, every night the leading story would be "McCain Gave BJs to Viet Cong Ladyboys." Seriously, the gloves need to come off. I'm sick of those lying fearmongers controlling the narrative.

Trust me, I met some Kindergarteners last year who totally could've used some sex education. Is it the hormones in the food we're feeding them? Is it television?

I don't think high heels for babies are helping the situation much:

Biden fights for the workingman.

Biden fights for Cheap Beer:

Biden also spoke at length about how the government can and should deal with the outsourcing trend and about strategies for keeping jobs within America's borders. He localized the issue of outsourced jobs by referring to the Belgian company InBev's pending takeover of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch.

That's right Joe Sixpack. Keep the suds flowing --- American Suds!

Yup. Soon, Cindy Lou will be peddling Stella Artois to thirsty Arizonans, and sending the profits to irritating foreigners. Why isn't she working for our beer independence? It's not like Belgians, the Mullahs on La Manche*, are our good friends.

On my way home from work today, I heard a brilliant critique from Ron Reagan (he has a new radio show broadcast via Seattle's KPTK, national through Air America). He said that Obama needs to deal with the Bill O'Reillys of this world in a firm (nee, spined) way; also said Republicans care less about the truth then 'sticking it' to Democrats. I agree - Obama needs to fight back and punch hard. The GOP is dirty and they will try to win at all cost. Being above the slime will not win the election.

Right on, Dan.

Today's column by E.J. Dionne Jr. ("Pulling the Curtain on Palin", Wash Post, syndicated in today's P.I. but not on-line) really nails the essence of McCain's campaign. They are clearly not making Palin available & hope to scare the media into not asking tough questions. An excerpt:

"...Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manager, gave the game away when he said on "Fox News Sunday" that she would not meet with reporters until they showed a willingness to treat her "with some level of respect and deference."

Deference? That's a word used in monarchies or aristocracies. Democracies don't give "deference" to politicians. When have McCain, Obama, Biden or, for that matter, Hillary Clinton asked for deference?

...Of course, Palin's handlers are being hypocritical: They want to focus on her family life and her identity as a hockey mom when doing so helps them and to push aside any story that mars this perfect picture. Conservatives are always against identity politics until they are for it.

Nonetheless, what matters is not Palin's personal life but whether she is prepared to assume the presidency if called upon. The actions of McCain's lieutenants suggest that they know the answer. And they are doing everything they can to keep the media from finding it."

We can't let them get away with this!!!

#13 Belgium is a nation of serious beer drinkers.

Belgians adore Americans - they still hate the Germans.

WWII, remember? Liberation glory for American GIs.

Such easy sex of any kind, and the good wine/cognac/beers hidden from the Germans.

My Grand dad used to tell the stories about the pretty girls falling all over the army boys, and I assumed the fags of Liege did the same ... I bet ... and in that war torn world a few cigarettes were like gold coins ...

The Palin fixation if adopted by Obama will cost him the presidency.

Clamoring media is hardly smart campaign strategy.

The more she baits the media in absentia, by the way, the more she is respected by the public. The tactic to establish her value and her turf/personal space. What a master of PR she has proven to be. Remember she is strong, a woman not pushed around easily. So she should bend over for a bunch of hack media producers? Let them clamor, then feed them one line at a time. Every day she breathes she is the story. Wow.

The public perceives media at the same level as hired killers - or corrupt attorneys. The maverick says fuck you, and talks to her supporters getting money and work and votes.

No. this response is not swinging is not hitting is not really attacking. It's all implied and you have to deconstruct it. See mypost under the prior post on this.

Saying "John McCain has no shame and no honor, he's standing with the predators and perverts who opposed my bill to empower kids to protect themselves from predators, he'll do anything to get into the White House" and tagging him as "No- Shame McCain" every day from now to the election with every surrogate -- Biden, Clinton, Clinton, Richardson, etc. -- now, that would be coming out swinging.

butissuing a statement not from Obama but from the campaign, that makes all kinds of logical allusions that are hard to follow, then minds up with our Uptight Seattleite kind of smirky implied conclusion -- you see, dear swing voters, he said he couldn't define honor because he doesn't know what honor is, which actually means he also doesn't have any honor -- that's just so wussy a response it's disgusting.

Remember McCarthy? Joe? That army dude had to say "Have you no shame Senator?" to make his point.

Goddam wussy weak Democrats just fucking don't know how to fight. Their weapon of choice seems to smug irony and intellectualizing everything. You gotta be fucking outraged you gotta have Obama there saying he's outraged this is outrageous and he won't fucking put up with it and he won't fucking let it go. He's got to gut McCain and hold up his intestines. The overly intellectual response just doesn't cut through the clutter and it doesn't show that Obama has the guts to take him on. Andif he doesn't take him on directly, then guess what -- Obama doesn't have the guts to be outraged.

He did this on TV sunday too, when asked if Palin was too inexperienced he just passed and said oh George, I'll let you ask McCain that.

He's being a wuss.

The Obama campaign needs to hit back with the same type of simplistic and distorted slimey negative ads. It's not enough to "respond" to the ads. You have to hit back and change the public's focus. These type of ads work, and if the Democrats are not willing to use them, they will lose again.

So let me get this, Obama is on Olbermann talking about a stupid editorial cartoon in the Washington Post while the McCain Campaign is calling Obama a child molester... Gee, wonder who is going to win this election.

GAME OVER! The Democrats are finished not only in November but frankly they are finished as a political party. If they can not win the White House this year, when can they?

If the Democrats lose again this year, I'm concluding that's it's going to take something like another depression to get people to wake up and vote Democratic again. And that may not be very far fetched the way things are going, especially if McCain drops dead and we get President Palin.

The Republicans are just doing a series of Big Lies, which stupid Americans will eat up like the fucking corndogs they love.

In a small circle, your point will get your friends to say yes.

This is a very big circle, the goal is to steal your opponents media. Repeat, steal the media. You and your speech, rumor of the day, dance on stage, fashion glasses, low level conttoversy, anything about you that keep the other side off the news is a success.

Palin is doing that, she is the buzz for 10 days ... all the early front page Obama glam is ... gone.

You and I know she is a danger to all our political goals. Polar opposite of the whole banana. But she is doing it very well and Mc Cain is going up in the polls.

There is nothing personal in this race, it is all planned and script driven. And Palin and her gang are doing it very well. They are turning every nuance and possible card to its best use.

Biden today attacked her on the topic of special needs kids - sweet Jesus - she just gave birth to one. How cruel. BUT as gov. last year the posts from Alaska child advocates point out the pushed funding for each child from the state from 28,000.00 per year to 73,000.00 in one amazing increase ... social agencies in AK. are astonished. Fact she wanted 81,ooo,oo, but settled for the 73,000. as compromise.

Biden just bit his own ass - if - she goes on the attack on just this one issue with ten million voters taking in every word, the families affected by special needs children.

Still time to win, but need to get the A team on media, the R.s are outwitting our side.

Sleep, cheers.

Take a deep breath, folks.

We always knew this election would be close, and the reason that the trolls are here in such force is to instill fear and doubt and distract you from the fight. Don't let them.

I'm donating to the Obama campaign for the first time when I get my next paycheck, and we all should do the same. And instead of fighting and hand-wringing with each other on SLOG, we oughta spend that effort punching it out on blogs that undecided voters actually read instead.

Lecture over.

(And notwithstanding the results of the election, Y_G_B_K_M, Bailo, PC, and Clintonsarmy will wake up every day for the rest of their lives as the same pathetic miserable losers they are now).

Whatever the thing you have about SUSAN,

not me, SWEAR.

and I have not heard anyone use the word retard in twenty years as an insult - take a deep breath, get a grip, purge you filthy mouth and rethink your issues with respecting other people. An enema a day for the next week might help ... really. Involve your woman, might get you laid as well ... really.

The Obama campaign has gone flat and is making mistakes - sorry you don't want any opinion except your own. Frizelle (FYI, Stranger editor) is posting about bad ads since he has a grip on good media vs. off target non effective messages.

I spent the weekend registering voters for Obama on the street - tell us what you did other than carping about blog posting you are put off by. By the way, are you registered to vote?

Cheers, to work.

Nationwide, there are about 42 million registered Democrats and about 31 million Republicans, according to statistics compiled by The Associated Press.

The Democrats have posted big gains in many competitive states, including Nevada, New Hampshire, Iowa, Colorado and Florida. They have also been targeting historically Republican southern states.

Since 2006, the Democrats have added 167,000 voters in North Carolina, while the Republicans have added 36,000.

The Democrats hope their voter registration efforts can boost Obama to victory in competitive states like Pennsylvania, Nevada and Florida and perhaps even give him a shot at winning traditional Republican states like Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia.

Both Obama and his Republican rival, John McCain, are fighting for independent swing voters, and many of the new Democrats had been unaffiliated voters.

The number of unaffiliated voters dropped by nearly 900,000 since 2006. Many joined the Democratic Party to take part in the primaries and caucuses, and now they will now be targeted by an aggressive get-out-the-vote campaign.

Obama today had a good response on the lipstick-was-sexist attack by McCain. Obama took on McCain directly, and tied it back to change, and said this phony outrage is what they do every four years and this ends up costing you, the voter, your future as we have so many challenges.

Two cheers.

So the Repuglicans can suggest that Obama is a child molester, and that's fair game, but he makes a comment about putting lipstick on a pig (which they claim wasn't aimed at Sarah Palin, but I'd give 'em mad props if it was - just calling a spade a spade), and they are screaming sexist? I don't get it.

If the American people vote Repuglican again, you get the president you deserve.
