It says his name is Luca Stash. I think he's gonna have more to worry about in the future. They should have just named him Bullseye.

Bawling and crying, must be a Seattle Liberal or a fag.

Seriously? A kid being dropped off at school would rather stay home with mom to the point of crying? How is that news?

It's ok. He only reads The Stranger.

and what, your answer to the times publicly humiliating him with the photo and caption is to put the link in so that even more people see it. how does that help him. thanks a lot, lindy. real compassionate.

He's just upset because he realised he lives in Bellevue.

All Bellevue boys are panty-girled cry babies. And they only get worse as they get older.

Oh, and they have small dicks.

the news is that the bellevue teacher's union WON. fuckin a teacher's union!

kid was probably fine 5 minutes after mom left. WTF with parents taking the kids to class nowadays? we walked to the bus & waited in the snow like patriotic american children.

No one is talking about what a terrible piece of photography this is. Where is the focus, on his sleeve?

I blame the parents. Not ONLY do they name their kid after a Suzanne Vega song, but then they don't even spell it correctly!

@12: It's not the front page of the paper. It's somewhere on the website, illustrating a story about the first day of school.

And of course, they had to have the mother's permission to use the photo. If she doesn't object (because there really shouldn't be any shame in a kid crying on the first day of school) I have no idea why Lindy does. Except for a little manufactured outrage, I guess.

Ah, the bullies at the Stranger would know an opportunity when they see one.

Did the teacher's strike last a couple years? Shouldn't this kid be a couple years ahead of kindergarten by now? At this rate he'll be thirty by the time he graduates and his mom will be close to 100. That bitch is OLD.

@ #6

"Bawling and crying, must be a Seattle Liberal or a fag."

He could be both, you moron.

Signed,

A liberal Seattle fag
