Chow It Is Officially My Favorite Time of the Year

onApple enthusiast Sean Nelson sent me a text message yesterday afternoon that is, perhaps, even more important than the news about the Crocodile Cafe re-opening…
“Honeycrisp apples sighted at Whole Foods. Repeat. Honeycrisps at Whole Foods. Over.”
I had one for breakfast. It was the best apple I’ve had all year.
(Related: Remember that one time Sean interviewed a Honeycrisp apple? Ha ha!)

Yeah, text me when they're not $4 a pound.
I remember the shit hitting the fan when you said they were "retardedly good."
QFC had them 2 weeks ago. They were Washington State too. I still prefer Gala.
Awesome. Thanks for the tip!
Sickly sweet apples are gross.
@5 testify. Where are the braeburns FFS?!!
Yeah, I've been getting them at QFC for the last two weeks. They been good too. I think $2.99/lb
You guys are both retarded. Not in the good way either.
I still have Sean's interview posted in my office at work. I have a thing for fruit and googly eyes.
I agree with #5; I am more of a granny smith girl myself.
I think that Honeycrisps have a superb texture, but must agree with those above on the too sweet flavor. Vote Braeburn!
i've been wondering when they were going to show up---by far the best apple presently in existence. and why aren't they around more? is there an apple embargo?
PCC Fremont had them last weekend
Baby Royal Galas with almond butter.
Holy.Fucking.Crap. It's sooooo good.
saw them at qfc last week, still pricey though

Yay yay yay yay yay! Yay!
"Two sweet"? Riiiiight. I'm gonna wake up after too much sleep, have too many orgasms with my fuckin' sexy boyfriend, and then eat an apple that's too sweet.
Life is too good.
I don't know how my first "too" ended up a "two". LOL
Point being:
YUMMERS!
