I gave some money today anyway. Eight weeks, we'll never hear from him again.

YES. In my bleary eyed blackberry gmail check first thing this morning I couldn't remember who he was and briefly hoped it was some dude I forgot giving my info. But, no.

Yeah, I get more e mail from him than from my husband or my friends. I already gave him the max money wise so I really have nothing to offer him until Nov and election day.

I didn't like the Obama/Biden t-shirt, so I'm still waiting for the next cool merch contribution-sale...and yeah, every time somebody sneezes, the guy has to send an e-mail.

ha! they long ago violated consumer marketing best practices - absolute max for spamming the base is 6 months. Politics is apparently a different breed.

krlock, feel free to send them an unsubscribe

I'm still getting mail from joe trippi

Yeah. And Biden, and that Axelrod character, and Michelle, and Barack himself, etc. His daughters will probably be sending me mail next.

It felt a bit refreshing when they started coming from Joe Biden.

Is the specific dollar amount they ask for related to how much you've already given?

Barack Obama is your new erectile disfunction medication.

I've only been hearing from Plouffe for two days (since I first donated) and I'm already kind of sick of him. But yeah, the ends just ify the means. Still, you'd think they could at least give you some downtime after JUST donating.

David who?

I've been tired of him for months! ... but for some reason I keep donating when he asks. Don't know why.

Wahhh wahh wahh. I have to put up with pesky emails to get a change in government?

Boo-fucking-hoo.

I'll donate $25 a day until god-damned election day if I have to. And proudly.

Hitting my delete button daily is hardly an inconvenience compared to the alternative.

Well, if your tired of reading emails from Plouffe, watch this cool video of a barn on fire:

Ya, I think the e-mails have really gone up, if it goes any higher I might take my e-mail off the list.

I've gotten to shouting at my computer, "Christ, Barack, I can't give you twenty-five dollars every time you ask for it!"

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.

I'd much rather put up with a few e-mails for two months, than see Sarah Palin handed nuclear launch codes.

1. Barn fire is awesome - hay and old dry wood goes up like an inferno.

2. Delete key not working?

3. Endure, it is working for our side, millions upon millions pouring in on line from many small donors, so easy, so quick, so modern, so green, and fuck finding a damn stamp.

I am so used to Plouffe, I just ignore and delete it.

I miss getting e-mails from Matt Damon from the One organization. It makes me feel so special. If I receive one from Bono, I get nauseous and have to delete it right away. I will not spam it because U2 had that one good song in the 80s.
