How’s that Bottom Thing going?

Hey Dan:

Just wondering how that t-shirt thing is going
. Watching the M’s game at Bruno’s, that three-run dinger just now kinda sucks. But it’s never a bad night at the ballpark…

To give Mariners’ fans some hope, I saw some talent at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers game I went to back in August. (Thought the team has just switched to the Brewers.) And being in last place, the very bottom, insures a good pick or two in the draft, although the baseball draft is much less reliable than the NBA or NFL drafts in terms of immediate impact on the team.

But baseball isn’t a game of clocks, or immediate impacts.

Now back to your usual Palin and Economic Meltdown Slog coverage…

This was my first MLB game and I had a pretty good time (even though I could've cared less about the game). I swear more balls went in the stands than anywhere. I guess that's why those guys get paid the millions.

Loss 100 - not tonight. The boys rallied late and put together a nice win. The funniest thing about it all is seeing a team who's already clinched vs. our team, each comprised of players all playing tonight's game for all different sorts of reasons and motivations. Pretty weird.

Game tonight was pretty good. Plus, there was this drunk guy yelling encouragement who was entertaining to listen to.
