That glass slash across the front of the building is ghastly. But then, a cut to its face is fine by me...I loved the old Stone building and used to visit it often when I lived in NYC, wayyyyyy back in the day.

The new one doesn't really do it for me.

Hey that's in my neighborhood! I must say I feel exactly the opposite of @1...

I found the old building cold, imposing, and unfriendly. The pictures don't do justice to the newly unveiled incarnation. It's rather beautiful in person, with interesting plays on reflection and texture. I say wait until you see it to judge it :)

Wow... I was just there a few days ago. Stayed at the Trump Tower on Columbus Circle. Never even noticed...
