Help Me, Sloggers!

I’m searching for a particular Monty Python skit and I’ve gone through every clip I can find on YouTube without luck. Does anyone else remember a Python skit about people living in an apartment tower that was an illusion created by a magician? So long as they believed, the building was fine. If they doubted the existence of the building, it might collapse.

I remembering watching that skit on television in my mother’s bedroom about, oh, 30 years ago. But I can’t find it anywhere. Am I crazy? Were false memories of non-existent Monty Python skits implanted in my mind by an unethical psychiatrist? Or is it out there somewhere?

And does anyone have a link to it?

I think I've probably seen every Monty Python skit ever several times - although not in many, many years - but that doesn't ring even the tiniest bell. Good luck, though!

Same as @1. I'm a big fan and I don't remember that one. But it sounds like British comedy. Maybe you can't find it because it was from a different British comedy team?

About 3 minutes in for the skit, 4:30 in for the specific one you want.

Tenant Yes, we received a note from the Council saying that if we ceased to believe in this building it would fall down.
Voice Over You don't mind living in a figment of another man's imagination?
Tenant No, it's much better than where we used to live.
Voice Over Where did you used to live?
Tenant We had an eighteen-roomed villa overlooking Nice.
Voice Over Really, that sounds much better.
Tenant Oh yes - yes you're right.
Cut to stock shot of block falling down in slow motion. Cut back to tenant and wife inside. Camera shaking and on the tilt.
Tenant No, no, no, of course not.
Cut to stock film again. The building rights itself. Cut back to interior again. Camera slightly on tilt. They are holding bits of crockery etc.

Who knew that Slog had so many poseur Monty Python fans? I don't even call myself a Monty Python fan and I remember that sketch.

I never saw that episode! Wow...Thank you!

And now...for ten seconds of sex...

Huh. In my experience, being a Monty Python fan - or having been raised on Python from a young age - is not exactly something to be proud of. Hence I find the idea of a "poseur Monty Python fan" completely ridiculous. Anyway, I'm impressed at JC's work, embarrassed not to've recognized the bit, and thrilled to have seen it!

This sounds like a question for Ask the AV Club (from the Onion, where I first read you Dan).... looks like it's already been answered though.

I have that one my 16 Ton set. Funny stuff. I'm not at home right now or I'd tell you exactly the name of it. The internets are shit for dvd details.
