Heaven Bound & Down

posted by on September 2 at 13:38 PM

Jerry Reed has died at age 71. A friend of mine finally returned my copy of Jerry Reed’s Greatest Hits to me yesterday. This is really sad. I loved to sing “She Got the Goldmine, I Got the Shaft” at karaoke.

I loved Jerry Reed, especially when he got to play Burt's roles (in Smokey & the Bandit III, sans Burt, he actually say, "I get to be the bandit! I get to be the bandit!") Hot Stuff was the first PG movie I ever saw.
