Totally shopped. You can tell around her neck. The length of the neck and the shading under her chin look off. Plus, the lighting doesn't totally match between her face and the rest of the pic.

it's a shop--i've seen the photo it's taken from--one taken on an alaskan tarmac, where she's wearing another one of her pasta necklaces, TWO flagpins and a big campaign pin. i like it, though. well done.

It's not real, no, and it sort of underscores the growing argument that this whole Palin kerfluffle is becoming way too much of a distraction.
