Gina Gershon Channels Sarah Palin

posted by on September 11 at 10:16 AM

Savage does a better impersonation of her voice, but Gina Gershon makes a fine, fine Palin.

A big “Thanks, darlin’!” to Slog commenter Josh.

I realize for most here the election is just a spectator sport.

But have you not noticed that every day you spend trying to bash Palin, Obama drops in the polls?

She's not some kind of total loser to most Americans, and you an't gonna make her out to be one. And every minute spent on her encourages the media to focus on her and this hurts Obama. Because it's off message.

Pls. make a note of it -- you arehelping Obama lose.

More communist propaganda.

McCain/Palin - can you say 50 state sweep?

Wasn't the West Seattle guy fired from Project Runway last night? I guess it's only news if he wins? So why have you reported on him for the last 7 weeks?

That wasn't very funny, actually.

You really think SLOG's influence is that wide-reaching? Maybe if they put something up about Obama Girl that would turn things around.

PC, I understand your point, but I also understand the urge to tell you to shut up. All of us who are incessantly freaked out by the prospect of VP Palin need the small bursts of commiseration that come from watching shit like this video. Palin's an insane choice, and it's foolish not to say so, in as many ways as possible.

Funny or DIE is not funny.

Not very funny, but damn, how does Gina Gershon still look that good?

I dunno. "Sarah Palin: if she shoots you in the face, it's because she was aiming for it", has a nice Cheneyesque ring to it.

It doesn't have to be funny, sex sells whatever it's attached to. In this case, satire. What independent straight white male is going to complain about seeing Gina Gershon in a patriotic bathing suit? This will reach more of the target demographic than an Obama ad.

@2: McCain/Palin - Can you say, "50 States: Weep!"

I hereby demand that the Slog posts audio and/or video of Savage doing his Palin impression.

Thank you. That is all.

@13:

You mean 49, right? 'Cause apparently, the first thing Palin's going to do after walking in the front door at #1 Observatory Circle is make good on her secret promise to the AIP...
