FUNWARI MILK CHAN!

posted by on September 22 at 13:06 PM

Every once in a while on the great big internets, you just come upon something that reminds you Japanese culture is completely fucking nuts:

Fluffy Milk-chan” is a world of affable characters that live a cute and slightly mischievous lifestyle. The heroine is the laid back Fluffy Milk-chan, who has friends such as the fashionable Pink Milk-chan and the trendy Tanned Milk-chan.

They’re adorable stuffed breasts. You know, for kids. I especially like the comic strips. And does Miss Can Milk have a vestigial nipple?

I prefer a fuzzy pink cum chan myself.

They need to invent one that's representative of male bitch-tits.

I kinda like it. Maybe if breasts here were also adorable and harmless (as well as sexy) rather than only, you know, so ridiculously sexualized that a nipple on TV nets you thousnads of dollars in fines, we'd be living in a better place.

I once had a coworker who brought her japanese cookie jar shaped like a cartoony pile of dog poop into work showing it to as many customers as possible.

I need to get one of these for my wife. She's a lactation consultant.

uhng....hungover feminist brain trying to make some point about why even when it's a lucious breast, the main carachter must always be male, with females only as sidekicks....then realizing that it's ridiculous to point out the ridiculousness.ouch.

Tanned Milk-chan appears to have developed a bit of a cancerous growth, there.

Bellevue Ave basically IS Pink Milk-Chan. Plus in the gallery where PM-C freaks out about the other one looking like a monster actually happened to us when we first met a couple years ago. I had a spider bite on my lip and looked like a monster, and he told me so.

@ Erin: I thought that too ... but (thankfully?) "Fluffy Milk-chan" *is* female. From the page: "Fluffy Milk-chan is laid back. She dreams of growing big, but her dream has never come true. Her favorite food is collagen. Her hobby is taking a nap."

Plenty of weird there, but having a male main character that's a boobie isn't the problem. Good luck with the hangover.

The problem I see is how Westerners see natural activities like breastfeeding as dirty and shameful. Breastfed toddlers like the breast. I don't find it all that weird that they would like a toy built on that association. At least not until somebody fills them with shame over this silly taboo.

Which is not to say that the Japanese aren't neurotic as hell. They are.

I think Miss Milk-Chan has a fashionable mole.

I really want some of these, but it looks like they're still in development.
