Well, you have to admit it is a pretty good cast. Who knows?

Makes a lot more sense than the resurrection of "Knight Rider."

I'd be horrified if this actually were going to be a film version of "Howl" -- yikes! -- buts it's just a movie about Ginsberg. So I'm only mildly nervous.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by bad movies...

They should have gone with David Cross. He was a dead ringer for Ginsberg in I'm Not There.

bring it on. i used to hate franco, and after pineapple express i'm convinced he needs to keep playing freaks, deviants, and free spirits. this could be great (or really terrible)

Franco is great in Freaks and Geeks.

Yes, the Cross Ginsberg in I'm Not There was freaking fantastic.

But I'll head to anything that Mary-Louise Parker is in so I guess I'll be seeing this film.

i second david cross. franco is a terrible actor and looks NOTHING like him. it's not so much that the guy should be a dead ringer, but to have ginsberg as a tiger beat kid makes no sense.

As a huge fan of Ginsburg and company, I'm rather excited about this. I wonder if they'll get Lawrence Ferlinghetti involved. Word is he still works at City Lights.

#8 -- I would see this movie, and buy it on DVD, if they cast Steve Buscemi as Carl Solomon. Can you imagine Buscemi in a suit and tie taking off his shoes and throwing them at a taxi cab?

I thought Ron Livingston did a decent job as Ginsberg in BEAT.
