Nextbook.org has a podcast with Linda Grant in which she talks about her book. It's a very interesting conversation, http://www.nextbook.org/cultural/feature.html?id=892.
Thanks.
I'll pretty much read anything off the Booker prize shortlist. I haven't read any of those either though, but I did read Northline based on your recommendation. I loved it. It was uncomfortable reading, but in the Q&A with Willy Vlatutin at the end, it sounded like it wasn't easy to write either.
I thought that said Sea of Puppies and was extremely disappointed upon closer inspection.
Fuckin' pussy, now who's gonna miss out on 368 pages of curried joy.
Like my old grand daddy used to say, "The less a man makes declarative statements, the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect."
Did your grand daddy really used to say that? Because that's awesome.
not really, it's a quote from a tarantino movie
