Mark Miller was a teacher of mine at Cornish... He's one of the strangest people. It takes awhile to get that he's just fucking with you in good humor. But man is he a good artist.
The story's great. But, um, what about the art?
I don't know -- haven't seen it; so Jen, what say ye?
Sounds like a prank to me.
i am so IN LOVE with these paintings!
i keep trying to figure out which one is my favorite, but i just love them all so much.

that dude is throwing up a crips gang sign. a "BK" to be exact.
I can confirm the story of the film as I was the one who found it. I had left my car downtown overnight and probably forgot to lock the doors. When I came back the next day I found it with the seats leaned way back and a disposable camera with a lawyer’s business card rubber banded to it sitting on the passenger seat. I almost tossed the camera, but thought it might provide amusement someday so I left it on a shelf in my studio and forgot about it for a couple of years until I ran into Mark. I am glad that he was able to put it to such good use!
