Didn't we already sound off? Didn't we already vote? Didn't we already decide? Isn't it now just up to to Governor, who will announce her decision after the election?

Didn't we have a Fucking vote on this bullshit already

I fucking hate Seattle's do-over deliberative politics, revote on the monorail until it dies, ignore our votes on stadiums, ignore our vote on the viaduct. Bullshit

and here I was hoping that in my 10 year absence for college and grad school, Seattle would have gotten it's shit together Re: transportation. Although next year, I WILL be able to take light rail almost halfway to my parents place from the airport if I visit. woohoo.

Seattle politics: years of soul-crushing process in pursuit of the inevitable.

Nothing will happen regarding the monorail, or 520, until they collapse of their own accord. Hopefully no more than a couple dozen people will die in the incident.

But, if we're willing to accept that people are going to die using the Viaduct on a regular basis (traffic accidents are always going to happen), then we should accept that sometimes those deaths are going to come in clusters that dominate news coverage for a few days.

Didn't you people learn anything from the monorail debacle? This is how it works: we vote once, the city pretends like we never did, so then they come up with another slate of options, eventually we vote again, rinse and repeat ad nauseum. God forbid FatFuck Nickels and co. ever get anything done or actually listen to the will of the voters.

We didn't vote on the Viaduct. Not comprehensibly. The vote was so poorly structured that a rational interpretation of the results is impossible. Seattle officials can't even put together a simple question of logic.

I voted for the fucking Monorail FOUR FUCKING TIMES! This meeting is so goddamned pointless. I have a better chance changing shit by yelling at my TV. Fuck.

Didn't we elect people to make a fucking decision and go with it. Lead already!

Lots of notice ... not.
