Do global initiatives typically wrap up quickly?

Um, not to preempt PC here or anything, but why are you attacking Democrats here? This supposed non-endorsement is not news; the new endorsement is. For someone critical of a "sound-bite society" you sure seem to be interested in making sure everyone sees it "over and over again".

After your Global Initiative is over?

Your globe can wait, Bill. Get your fuckin' ass out there NOW.

Not to side with Fnarf but could you stop with these negative stupid stories about the race.

How can you possibly complain about a sound bite culture - pit bulls - it takes a mom and dad - oh no they are tearing down the dump I eat in...

1. Clinton's campaign "efforts" still totally lackadaisical. Yes, his actions constitute a kind of non endorsement. This is sort of news as one would have expected that after this lunch, he would go fucking tour with Obama and go fucking get votes in MI OH PA.

Now the next point would be why isn't this happening. So we could, you know, make it happen?

Seems to me Obama's efforts at outreach to Clinton totally suck. Obama didn't even call him to set up this lunch. So until Obama asks and asks again....the ball is in Obama's court.

I hope he will ask Billdawg to help. Obama's very off message right now.

2. Yesterday we had Biden quoted everywhere saying HRC was a better pick. Very off message!

3. Today we read the LA Times as follows: "[Obama] pressed his point Monday that people could pay a heavy price if they make the wrong decision on election day. At stake are constitutional liberties that can mean the difference between freedom and unjustified imprisonment, he told the crowd in Farmington Hills, Mich. "We may think this is Mohammed the terrorist; it might be Mohammed the cabdriver. You may think it's Barack the bomb-thrower. But it might be Barack the guy running for president," he said, referring to the Bush administration's controversial arrest and detention policies toward terrorism suspects."

Is he on LSD?? One, this WAY off the economic message he needs to win in MI.
Two, this makes NO emotional connection to swing voters and Wall MArt moms he needs to reach. Three, who the fuck is telling him to run on due process rights for detainees?

Last candidate who spoke up for rights of suspects was Dukakis with his ACLU card who blew an 18 point lead and lost.

Earth to Obama...earth to Obama....it's the economy stupid......and don't ever say "Barack" and "bomb-thrower" in the same sentence or paragraph again.

Go have another lunch with Billdawg and learn how to talk economics, like the price of milk, or gas, or jobs. Stuff like that. Stop running for Harvard law review editor.

(Still haven't heard anything bad about that pipeline. Isn't it like unenvironmental and stuff??)

The Clinton Family calendar begins on 2010 -- that's when she'll make her next bid to run for the Democrat slot, during McCain's first term.

If Hilary ever runs again I will sell my soul to help her.

I invested totally in Obama, and now he is just totally awash with the best advice possible at his disposal.

What the hell happened? Let's hope Bill and Hillary go to work, and bail him out.

A Hillary / Paling debate would go into history at the closing bell.

In this morass why did Biden make a fool of himself - he is supposed to bring experience and savior faire to this effort.

My head is exploding.
