15th & Pike

Seen a Gregoire yard sign in Seattle? Send me a pic. Want a Gregoire yard sign? You can request one via Gregoire’s website, but you’ll get one lots quicker if you drop by Gregoire’s campaign office—1310 Mercer St.—and pick one up yourself.

I emailed the campaign on Friday and haven't heard back yet. Gregoire does not have an office here (Bellingham) and our democratic headquarters has no Gregoire signs left.

This sucks, because Rossi is frakkin everywhere up here in Whatcom County (and all the way from Portland to B'ham according to my parents report last week.) His campaign certainly has mastered sign placement.

Here's a real issue: AIG.

Why are taxpayers bailing them out?

Who is benefitting?

Who gets the million dollar salaries?

Why is the Federal Government preserving the wealthy of high priced management?

Why isn't SLOG screaming and yelling!!

I've seen one Obama and one Rossi sign up here in Shoreline (between 145th & 175th on my daily wheelchair trip to the library.

The stretch on 35th from U-Village to Wedgewood is usually a good sight to spot signs and flags.

I was at the Obama/Gregoire headquarters last week. I do believe they charge for the yard signs.

beatgrl - There is an office in Bellingham! It's at 1220 Bay St. There are actually 10 Gregoire offices around the state, so if you don't live in Seattle, you can go to the website (www.chrisgregoire.com) and find a nearby field office where you can pick up a sign.

I was on Mercer Island last month and that little rock is lousy with Gregoire signs. Noticeably so.

John Bailo:

Government guarantees Freddie and Fannie and Bear S. and AIG and your health care if you are found in the gutter and you think we don't already have socialism?

Just poorly run, unacknowledged and geered to bailing out capitalists, more than the people.

for what it's worth, I was down in the Kelso/Longview area recently and was surprised to see a roughly equal number of huge Gregoire and Rossi signs.

That house is clearly owned by a crazy person. Just look at that fucking "garden."

If only Gregoire was worth keeping for a reason other than her competition is probably worse.

Yard signs don't vote - who gives a fuck?

And what's up with those fugly shutters? People, they're called shutters for a reason - they're supposed to shut. You don't just nail them next to a window that's five times wider than they are. There's no way these "shutters" could cover windows this size.
