I don't know, Paul. When I was 11 years old, I still looked up to my parents and didn't really question their political beliefs. Give the kid a few years, there's hope for him yet. Like you said, at least he can spell.

If those were official McCain (or Clinton) campaign materials, then it would at least be more honest than the double entendre "wink wink" bullshit they actually put out.

BTW, the t-shirt kid's dad is a known abortion protestor in the Denver/Aurora area, going so far as to protest in front of clinic employee homes.
They're planning to sue the school, of course. The school says the kid was being disruptive, and it should be noted that his ten-year-old sister was allowed to stay in class with her anti-Obama, pro-McCain t-shirt. Hers didn't say anything about "terrorists", but, more importantly (according to the school) she wasn't disrupting class.

Kids are stupid. I remember parroting my aunt and uncle in the 4th grade when during the '96 election they wanted Perot, so I did. I didn't understand what was going on. They told me Perot was the only sensible candidate, so I voted for him during our mock class elections. I think the split was pretty even for the country too- Perot got 2 votes out of about 30 kids.
I never rebelled against my mother. Why would I rebel against a nice, thoughtful woman when I could rebel against my peers, who were a bunch of idiots?
I'm confused - is Obama a man of the cloth?
The shirt is lousy, but I'm having trouble finding it an offense worth suspension.
