See, this is your problem.
You think just because someone is a great author and brave in certain circumstances, they can't be a wanker and annoying.
Many people I've known are all of them, but a lot of people, especially those driven to do such things, have major personality flaws that make them the kind of person you can only take in small doses.
Or they blow up at little things in a red-faced rage like McCain does.
Wow, Will. Got a bit of an axe to grind?
Constant's post seems dead neutral to me, not even a hint of taking sides. Now I'm wondering if you're leaping to conclusions because of an experience you've had with a famous wanker.
In his humble opinion? Humble? Rushdie? I don't think so.
In my humble opinion he is all of those things...

Poor Salmon...maybe if you gave him a Genius Award, he'll feel better.
Hmmm...I can see mean and arrogant, but he does tend to be a funny guy.
FYI, if it's British, "cupboard" equals "closet".
Some cupboards in the UK are big enough to put a small office in, or a bedroom.
@10... What? If they are that big, they surely won't be referred to as 'cupboards' then, would they?
Am I being daft here?
