What I found most interesting is that blacks are going to vote according to their "nationality", but whites are just going to vote according to their party affiliation.

I've also been loyal to my affiliation - an affiliation of people who have a right to make a decision in their heads based on their own core beliefs and not those of a particular 'party'.

and if you think about it, that three percent difference would mean that those are voters who had democratic leanings, but now switched. that means it is as much a rebuke of democrat whites as it is of republican whites.

obama is making inroads with the younger, more liberal christians in a surprising way -- a way that would tend to refute this assertion. but the old guard is sticking to their partisan guns.

Stuff like this almost makes me want to run for office to set dumb people straight.
