Most likely a line of sight for the views created by the destruction of the trees will pin-point some window in a mega-mansion.

Civil law in Washington state allows for the collection of treble damages for "tree theft." I'm hoping that the destruction of trees to create a view could be counted in the same category as cutting someone else's tree because you want the wood.

It is at times like this that I ask, "what would the druids do?" (Answer, nail the bastard to the log and roll it down a hill.)
