Bellevue is a city? I thought it was a street.
It's an Avenue
I think the Keg in Factoria usually shows politics in the bar if there aren't sports on. I watched the 2004 election there.
I thought it was a Mental Hospital.
But this year they're going Blue, so try one of the sports bars.
Why?
There are bars in Bellevue?
Yes, why Will? Why a sports bar?
Yes, Andrew, there are bars in Bellevue. Scary bars, filled with soulless people.
I always feel hilariously out of place in Bellevue. My hometown is Kirkland, so, you know. The rivalry.
Also: Emily, how is the little one?
Have you checked out any of the places at Lincoln Square? I think Palomino might have televisions in their bar.
If you want company at a scary Eastside bar, post where you end up. Though I'd probably ruin the whole "hilariously out of place" vibe for you since I'm one of those soulless Eastsiders...
I doubt you'd be THAT out of place anywhere watching the DNC on their TV. Downtown Bellevue isn't all that different than downtown Seattle these days. Less homeless, more high school kids, that's about it. See if you can find a place in Factoria or Crossroads if you're gonna go that route.
OK, you fuckwits, I (who live in Bellevue when not overseas) met with friends at a Well Known Bar in Ballard, who confirmed on the phone that they would have the DNC on the TV. They did, but even at full volume could not drown out the Seattle losers who kept bloviating even louder the whole time.
So fuck you, Seattle snobs. Take a backstroke in your own narcissistic puke.
