They Shoot Democrats, Don’t They?

posted by on August 13 at 11:04 AM

They do in Arkansas.

A gunman entered the Arkansas Democratic Party headquarters Wednesday and shot the party chairman, who was hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said. The gunman asked to speak to the party chairman, Bill Gwatney, and fired three shots.

“He came in and went into this office and started shooting,” police Lt. Terry Hastings told reporters near the party headquarters.

Gwatney, a former legislator, was in critical condition, Hastings said.

Here’s hoping it’s not another deranged gun nut killing liberals.

And the Democrats just laid there and took the bullets: just like a bunch of pansy limp wristed liberals that they are.

Reason #55164687 why liberals should be trained in the use of firearms.

@2

You think it was the chicknhawks filling uniforms all these years?

Being trained in the use of firearms would not have protected this man. If he'd had a gun in an open holster on his hip he'd still have been had by surprise. Life is not a Wild West TV shootout.

I disagree with Dan. I hope it IS another deranged gun nut trying to kill liberals. Maybe it'll be the wakeup call people need to recognize how poisonous the influence of Limbaugh, Hannity, and Savage is.

Wow, guy from the other comment thread was right, all of the sarcasm detectors have been turned off today. Either that or people really think I'm that paranoid. But for the sake of appearances:
@2 - Of course not.
@3 - You are absolutely right.

I'm sorry, Hernandez. I'm unable to detect sarcasm today, as I have my panties in a bunch. Or knickers in a twist, if you prefer. Shorts in a wad. You get the picture.

@3 is right.

This White House is particularly noted for it's lack of appointees who have actually served, not swerved.

Once again the right wing leadership has failed to do anything to even remotely stop the heinous actions of its most extreme members. The facist right is not the party of law and order but the party of outright despotism, where the right to harm others for one's own ends stands far above any pretense of human decency.

This happened just a couple of blocks from my office. The police killed the guy so we may never now all the details.

Why don't you guys pull your heads out of your asses. The story doesn't say anything about the gunman being a Republican, a conservative or anything else. For all you know he might be a far left nut or Clinton supporter upset that Hillary lost the race. As for the other deranged nut, we Republicans don't claim him either. It stated he was upset because he was cut off of his food stamps. Well, any conservative worth his salt wouldn't be on food stamps in the first place. You can't just go around blaiming Bush for everything. I mean, really, do you want the President of the United States to start getting involved in local law enforcement matters? No THAT'S despotism and fascism (which are both far LEFT ideologies, by the way, as are NAZI's, the National SOCIALIST party.)
