The Bridge was boring and shitty. The trailer was awesome though. Made you think it might actually be interesting. It's not. Nothing to see. Jump along.
I just crossed the Golden Gate Bridge a few days ago as part of my end-of-summer motorcycle trip. (This is why I have not been SLOGing.)
I've lost friends to suicide, but I still think it's not society's job to disfigure public spaces in an attempt to prevent people from ending their lives. We can't make the whole world safe for everyone.
We care, we really do.

Good morning, SLOG people. I have three simple questions for you today.
One, what is "it"? No, really--I mean, what the fuck?
Two, what is (sic)?
Three--and most topically--is it "Slog" or "The Slog"?
Inquiring "off-topic" trolls want to know.
And no, I don't feel like letting it go.
I just can't understand how people can consider weekly suicides an attractive feature of GG Bridge. Won't it be MORE scenic without periodic plunging bodies?
Also: that X-Men clip is from Best Film & Video Corp, which also released the incredibly weird "Monster Hits" sing-along: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKnzUoQtlG0
Is that Eartha Kitt voicing the woman who frees Magneto?!
If you can't jump off the Golden Gate Bridge what good is it?
I watched a ton of X-Men cartoons in junior high and high school (shut up), and I never heard that intro song. It's garment-rendingly awful.
