The Seattle Center Monorail was run by Metro for years and years and years with absolutely no problems (well, except for that crash back in the 70's) but ever since it's been "privatized" it's been nothing but trouble.
But everyone knows that private industry does everything better than government, and for less cost, so I don't know why this would be happening.
Oh man, if raising the drinking age saved so many lives, think how much better we could make things by banning alcohol altogether! That would solve ALL our problems with alcohol!
