Rendell out, Warner out Gore out, Webb out Strickland (the Ohio guy) out Edwards hasn't said he's out of it, would be fun to include him in poll and see what he gets -- Richardson to me seems to be slow and vague whenever he talks. Perhaps Biden is the only one left who is acceptable to Obama base. Perhaps he is more of a plus in the current "Georgia on My Mind" context.

Who else? um....... with these tiny half point leads in places like OH and being tied in VA right now and such, maybe there should be a focus on, you know, winning the election?

So who could there be who actually gives Obama a lift in the polls ? Hmmm.......

4. Unsolicited comment (aren't they all) on Obama campaign performance recently.
On the whole they are doing great. I get it that they are laying foundations for the fall, by filling in his bio and making him look presidential. Good moves. Yet I also think and hope they will do better, by defining McCain/GOP as super rich liars and traitors who have stolen our constitution and economic well being for their own profit, lying and breaking the rules, for their own greed for money and power. The "McCain's a celeb too" ad is okay, it's a teeny step in this direction, bit I'd suggest going all out. Perhaps Obama will do so, in his acceptance speech.

Rabid City Journal - Authorities ID shooter, victim in weekend shooting at Sturgis bar

Authorities identified the man injured in an Aug. 9 shooting in Sturgis as Joseph Patrick McGuire, 33, of Imperial Beach, Calif., and the shooter as Ronald Smith, 43, of Seattle, Wash.
