Now begins the iPodization of architecture:

It's not the "iPodization" of anything - it's the freakin' "2001-ization" of EVERYTHING!
Don't you mean the Braunization of architecture?
Everyone knows apple bites Braun product designs from the 60s.
Agree with Comte - it started in 1968 England, or post-war Italian design, or American design in the 70's... this has been the vision of futuristic for a long time.
