No matter who the VP is we won't support NO-Bama and will re-defeat him in November. Go Hillary 2012!!!
Whoa, @1 . . . you can't change your script like that! And what if it's HRC as VP, eh?
I changed my vote from Bloomberg to Biden, mainly because I realize that Bloomberg doesn't have the foriegn policy experience that is needed.
I do think that Bloomberg has the financial chops to turn this country around, he would secure the jewish vote, he is socially liberal, and loaded. He also has done a great job with NY, and conservatives who are socially liberal love him.
Just sayin.
I voted Bill Richardson, even if he should probably choose Sibelius. Note I didn't vote for Richardson in the last poll.
I don't trust Biden. If he's chosen, I hope Obama keeps him in the more traditional role of a VP - head of NASA, goes to parties for him, keeps breathing, acts as the heavy - and not in the un-American activist role that Cheney has/had.
2500 votes is much more than you usually get on polls, and John Kerry had 15% despite nobody in the world seriously considering him.
This list sucks. I picked Biden cause he's the only good and serious choice, the others are either non-possibilities (HRC, Bloomberg, Richardson) or gawd-awful (Hagel, Daschle) You cut Bayh? He's at the top of everyone else's list. PLUS you kept Kerry (lord, please, no...) but dropped Gore (who would ensure an Obama victory, especially if McC picks Lieberman)??? Looks like a Lose-Lose scenario to me...
None of the above.
Uh... we'll probably know who the actual VP pick is before the next round of voting commences, Eli. You might want to move the next round of voting up.
@4
You said "I don't trust Biden."
omg.
Well? I don't.
Doesn't mean it would affect my vote ...
Who the fuck is Chet Edwards? John's nephew?
Obama/Nunn - to the tune of Manamana... do doo do do do... Obamanunn... do do do do
Their campaign song just writes itself!
@ Dan: Yeah, I'm planning on a lightning round this afternoon.
@11,
Some congressman from Texas.
Auf wiedersehen, approximately "upon seeing again"
@10
Maybe Biden doesn't trust you.
Could be, don't know, don't really care, @16.
Sloggers still seem to like Richardson. On paper, Richardson makes as much sense than Clinton or Biden (actually more than Biden), and unlike Bayh etc., people have heard of him.
If he's not on O's short list, there's a problem. Wish I knew what O's grand plan was.
@17
Biden cares. About the direction of our country. About bringing positive change and restoring America's reputation throughout the world. It's silly you can't see that and recognize his contributions to you party. Our party.

It's an honor to be vote 666.
I like Biden, if only because he'll take the gloves off and fight dirty when necessary. He'll be good for some quotable campaign rhetoric, and he gives Obama some credible foreign policy experience.
Other than that, I agree with @4 - VP should be the head of NASA, attending ribbon cutting ceremonies, making coffee at cabinet meetings, etc.
Boo on Hilz! Obama will mysteriously end up dead within his first year in office if she's VP.
C'mon, Stranger. When are you going to delete/ban the idiot nonstop spammer who posted #1 on this thread?
my vote won't change no matter who he picks, so eh, whatever. i'm more interested in who mccain picks. i'm hoping he goes with a pro-choice VP, just to watch the malkinoids' heads collectively explode. pleasepleaseplease!!!
@24
I'll have to agree - the joke has grown way past stale, it is just some one note republican trying to get his jollys.
Well, they are very sad, @26.
I like Biden (and Richardson), but, if I were President, I would be more into making Biden Secretary of Defense and make Richardson Secretary of State. Most candidates do not say who there cabinet would be until after they are elected, but I think Obama should break precedent because I think it would help the public to know that, though Obama's military and foreign policy experience might be low, he would be putting people with a LOT of experience in those positions.
Hillary, as much as I despise people like "clintonsarmy" and other of her die-hard supporters, brings more votes than she loses, and if she can't control Bill, then no one can. She would be my choice, and then I would have her concentrate on health care and other similar issues that interest her.
Bloomberg and Hagel will never accept the job and do not Bring Obama any votes. (Ditto Al Gore, who is not n the list).
Bradley and Sam Nunn haven't been in the news for years (as far as I know).
Wesley Clark might get some votes, but not bring in a whole swing state let alone a Red state.
Tom Daschle comes off as too much of a pussy on everything for most people, even Democrats.
John Kerry (see Tom Daschle). Plus he is a "Loser."
I would have like to see Barbara Boxer on the list (I think she might be as respectable to women as Hillary without the Bill Baggage. However she is from San Francisco, so the Right would pummel her on "family values."
I like Biden too. He'll get all pit bull on McCain.
