Yes and no. No majority of any population in this country has ever been anti-capitalist. However. Some of the most important anti-capitalists thinkers this country has ever had were black.

WEB Du Bois, Hubert Harrison, CLR James, Claude McKay, A Philip Randolph (socialist when he founded the pullman porter union), James Boggs, and many, many others all the way up to Bill Fletcher, Jr today.
