Early results showed Bergeson with a significant lead over her opponents so we were ready to party. But a moment after Lindy West and I stepped into a fluorescently-lit, music-less San Juan room—which, at 9:30 p.m., was filled with silver-haired revelers—we were promptly shown the door. Was it because I'm a high-school drop out, Terry? Even though we were expelled from the class, nothing could keep us from keeping tabs on Bergeson's clique.... If you examine the PDC record more carefully you’ll find a $202,000 independent expenditure against Terry Bergeson funded by the SEIU from Washington D.C. to the tune of $192,000. That’s the out of state money I was referring to. It’s been in all the papers, so I thought you’d know what I meant.

In terms of the vote, Terry did better in this years primary than she did in 2004 and in that year she won the general election by a wide margin.

In Non-partisan down ballot races with multiple candidates like this one, a 40% vote is huge.

Didn't you get the memo from Dorn? He thought he was going to win outright last night...
