Slog - Comments on Sam's Complaint About SAM

Recumbent Bear Drinking by Marcus De Bije (Dutch, 1612-1670), from 1664, is one of many prints in Davidson Gallery's Antique Print Department, which is catalogued online. Lately, it may seem like I've been hammering on Seattle Art Museum, but this time, it's not me who's complaining. He says SAM pretty much ignores prints, and is losing out on, or will lose out on,...

Its okay- because after the collections are sold, certain SAM boardmembers, in about ten years, will just buy them at triple the price from a New York Dealer, and donate them to SAM for a hefty tax deduction.

Keep hammering- after all, its the anniversary of FA and the Jason Sprinkle ball and chain.

Regina tells all about FA over on her blog- surely you sneak a peek once in a while?

FA was the self adopted smear that SAM gave to Jason Sprinkle- the claimed he wasnt an artist, just a "fabricator", so he and his friends took it an ran with it, dubbing themselves FA.
