Frankly, I've come to the conclusion that sex is just trouble.

I never believe it when they say the models are college age anyway.

What happened to working in the dining hall to make money in college?

Huh? What was the post about? The hot, hot, backside completely distracted me.

I also like the use of the word "separately". You know, so nobody thinks they're queer.

Somehow I don't think the NCAA had porn in mind when they established those rules... especially if University of Nebraska was never linked to them on the porn site.

@ 5: I thought the same thing.

Also, this restores my faith in porn. They are actually straight college dudes! Who knew there was any validity to that?

What are the chances they were paid in untraceable cash anyway?

Seriously, what do these guys get paid for a one-off gig like this? A thousand bucks tops, maybe? Most certainly a one-time fee, so it's not like they're getting a cut of the profits if their performance happens to be a particularly big hit among website patrons.

Do the proprietors of these sites actually fly the boys to gigs, or do they just set up shop in popular spring-break destinations and troll the streets for young men gullible enough to give a wank for what must seem like a big wad of cash under the circumstances?

It doesn't matter how much of a hottie you are, or how indifferent you think you are to being seen nekkid or to being jerked off to by gay guys everywhere. In the long haul of life, it's not worth it.

@6: I think the NCAA had EXACTLY such circumstances in mind when they wrote the rules (though they may have had girls more in mind than boys at the time). The probably parsed and argued over it for 20 times as long as any other rule. I mean, there are certainly profitable, exploitative opportunities far beyond and away from porn, but I'm sure the porn thing was always there.

And I think it's an admirable solution to the problem. Saying athletes can't use pictures of themselves for commercial purposes covers all grounds with an elegant simplicity, without actually having to tacitly acknowledge anything unsavory.

Heheh. He said "big wad of cash."

@10: I agree with you almost completely, but you might want to check your understanding of the definition of "tacit."

@3: You don't get paid to wank in the college dining hall.

Lots of guys get flown into San Diego, L.A., Palm Springs, etc. to shoot vids and stills (Plenty of sunshine for the outdoor/pool settings). Usually they've been browsing the sites themselves, e-mail the websites with some snapshots of themselves, and then get a plane ticket and travel expenses FedExed to them if they make the cut. On some sites they might do a half-dozen shoots over a year or two if the demand is there. There's safety in numbers, generally speaking, and most will go on to become doctors, judges, congressmen, etc. without anyone ever making a connection between them and their past. Awkward for these particular guys' futures, though, since their names are out there now. Also easy to envision some difficult conversations with their parents in the present.

The athletic director probably had an epic wank session in his office after getting the anonymous tip from a prof, or stumbling across the pics himself. I wonder what they'll have to say about how this came to their attention.

Wrestling is pretty gay to begin with. It's not a huge leap to go from two guys rolling around in tights to whackin it for the camera.

I like how Freshman is trying to portray these poor innocent victims...I don't recall anyone pointing a gun at them to do this...the only gun pointing going on, is being done by the models...

Too bad they weren't being investigated for felony assault. The NCAA would go out of its way to find an excuse to keep them on the teams.

I am extremely disappointed in the tenor of this discussion. Nobody's mentioned yet how frigging HOTTT they are. DAMN nice asses, etc. The story connected w/ this discussion says something about "nude or partially clothed." I've seen the video and the pics. They're nude-- gloriously, wonderfully, throbbingly nude. Just thought I'd share. btw, I really liked the pics; did I mention that?

I just wish they did not take a Lady Bic across their entire body. That for me kinda ruined the appeal.

I just wish the whole story would've broken a couple of weeks later. Fall classes don't start until the 25th, and it would have been just that much more scandalous (and thus entertaining)if the shitstorm had hit when the entire University was present to witness it.

[[There's safety in numbers, generally speaking, and most will go on to become doctors, judges, congressmen, etc. without anyone ever making a connection between them and their past.]]

"Safety in numbers"? Whah? "...And most will go on to become doctors, judges, congressmen, etc. without anyone ever making a connection between them and their past." Whaaaah? This is based on what?

The long history of doctors, judges and congressmen who have posed for gay porn in the past and escaped detection? I guess if that's your argument, there's no way to disprove it. Then there's potentially scores of doctors, judges, and congressmen who have posed for gay porn in their youth, but since they've never been caught, there's no way to quantify this outrageously high number.

Or are we just talking about the long history of doctors, judges and congressmen who have posed for gay porn and escaped detection since the Internet has become such a phenomenon within the last ten or fifteen years? Now that you mention it, I THOUGHT that guy with the ripped abs looked a lot like Strom Thurmond.
