Linda Hogan reads from People of the Whale, which is (according to Publishers Weekly) an "engrossing tale" that "employs just the right touch of spiritualism." It's about a fictional Native American tribe and a young man who might have "mystical whaling powers." Hogan was shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize for a previous novel, Mean Spirit. I haven't read her, but it's a safe bet that if you're interested in Native American fiction, this will probably make you happy. The full readings calendar, including the next...
