Pissing off the Pope seems more like incentive than disincentive.

This isn't art. This is something you buy for $1.99 for no reason at all, only to throw it away during your next move.

The Vatican needs to update their tactics: trademark the crucifix and sue anybody who uses an unsanctioned version, Disney-style.

Too bad he died before he could make a matching set with Muhammad and the Dalai Lama.

Is there any useful point of differentiation between Christianity and Islam?

Any god, or religion, that can't deal with images of Kermit-on-a-stick or turbaned-dude-in-charcoal-on-paper isn't worthy of the appellation.

You know how hard it can be

I BEG your pardon; "fucknut"? You wouldn't say that if you knew that that frog happens to look almost exactly like me.

Oh, wait; yes you would.

It "has offended the religious feelings of many people who consider the cross a symbol of God's love and of our redemption," Pahl quoted the pope as writing in the letter.

If the cross is a symbol of God's love then he's a kinky so and so.

That frog is tame. Try Rops:

I believe there's a more explicit drawing, where JC is being mounted but I can't find it online.

I too have done some art work about my opinions of religion and its crushing impact on our society. If the religion can't take criticism, what does that tell you? Of course it can't take it because it's a myth and can't be defended by other than faith and BS.
