And hopefully, the rest of McCain's campaign too.

While this quite brilliantly gives the R's a gracious reason to disinvite their albatross's two biggest anchors, it cannot be good news that the "message map" is being obliterated by a hurricane.

Divine retribution.

Why didn't Obama mention this storm once in his speech? We knew about this well in advance, yet he covered it up so all attention would be on him?

Where is Biden in all this? I haven't heard a single word/quote since he was nominated? Why is he being squelched?

"Cover up", really? The storm's strength was uncertain up until August 30th. Yes, a hurricane was going to hit the gulf coast. By the time Obama spoke, the storm had just become a Category III hurricane. "Storm of the century" was not predicted by almost any news source. Not even Fox News. So in no way did Obama "cover up" Gustav.

And Joe Biden is touring the country with Obama currently. VP candidates don't need to make press releases in order to prepare for an election or a role as VP.

Quote from the article:
"Officials said they were unsure when the convention could resume its normal presentation to the nation or whether it was certain McCain would appear here to accept the party's nomination.

"I hope and pray we will be able to resume some of our operations as soon as possible, but frankly, some of that is in the hands of God," McCain said."

Soooo....Is McCain saying that it's God who is sending this hurricane into Louisiana? And if God wanted the RNC convention to proceed as scheduled, God would make the hurricane go away so McCain could "resume operations"?

What a tool!

If you American's vote for a member of the GOP for any position I will smite your once mighty nation with hurricanes and worse. I have endorsed Barack Obama and you shall vote for him or thou shalt most certianly rot in a pit of worms for eternity.

Thanks @ 7. John Bailo is a troll is every since of the word. It's obvious why he spends so much time posting. Any decent human wouldn't want to be with him.

Gustav is God's retribution for Obama's godless Marxism and his homosexuality (yes, folks, the Larry Sinclair story is TRUE. Drug addicts and homosexuals eventually become America hating Marxists).

McCain is showing his class. Watch the liberals exploit this storm for political gain.

Heavenly Father (and Mother) @8: The plural of American is Americans, not American's. And the word certainly is not spelled certianly. While I realize that Aramaic is your first language, I would think that a divine Being such as Yourself would remember to use Spellcheck.

Yay for God, unleashing her wrath upon the Republicans. About time she made her political preferences known.
