Watch Hillary say something about "Remember Bobby Kennedy.."

How I wish I was joking.

I just started listening online and I'm already getting misty eyed.

I don't see why Hillary needs to step in and ask for a direct nomination. Let it play out, tally up the delegates, and then proceed. What's the harm in that?

What is the point of yielding the floor, New Mexico, if you are still going to give a long winded speech?

I have a question for all of those that are complaining about the fact that some Hillary delegates are going to vote for Hillary. Did any of you vote for Nader? For those that did, why did you do it?

For some of you, it was to make a point, right? It wasn't because you thought that your vote would end in a win, it was to make a point and demonstrate loyalty.

I know some of you will scoff at this analogy, but it might be appropriate.

Discuss?

Hey! Washington was robbed of its moment! I wanted to hear about our great state. I am not joining the Love Train.

What? Did anyone try to object to Hillary's motion or did Pelosi cut it off? Oh shit, the bad music continues - "Love Train"?

Wow...acclamation....feels like....catharsis!

Now I can finally donate to Obama, support Obama, speak up for Obama and wear Obama togs!

Oh wait, I already did those things.

Seriously congrats to Sen. Barack Obama and all his supporters.

Unity,

She MADE her point. Then she gave us proof that she is one classy lady. It is soooo obvious that this was carefully orchestrated. She was making up for having been forced to be a bitch during the primary. (Lets face it, if a MALE campaigner gets pushy, we assume that he is well endowed; if a FEMALE campaigner gets pushy, we assume that she is a bitch.)

She is a strong, intelligent woman. She picked the wrong campaign manager. Even so, she still knows how to show that she HAS class.

Meanwhile, what breaks my heart is that Martin and Coretta BOTH did not survive long enough to see this. It always seemed like Coretta would last forever...

She has SUCH class. That WAS totally exciting @4!! Go Obama!

Though, I admit...I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to hear from Washington.

Word up #14

I just want to know what we would have said about our great state

To Non-

I'm unsure what message to take from your post. Are you in favor of letting the delegates cast their votes for the first female nominee for president, or is she a bitch because she is the first female nominee for president? My most sincere hope is that your age is accurately represented by your mentality, in which case we will all be spared the reality of you voting for at least six more years.

I am proud of Hillary Clinton for acknowledging the need for party unity, and for having the grace to accept what many of her supporters have not accepted.

Whats WITH the weird capitalization of WORDS?

"this administration set more records than Michael Phelps."

Also, Jon Corzine gave a shout out to the New York Giants, which made this lifelong (and long suffering) Giants fan tear up about as much as I did when Hillary made her motion for party unity.

@14--I agree, she wants everyone to focus on unity and said so in an genuine and classy way. I just wanted to see every state get their moment to wax poetic about their natural resources and championship teams and Congressional representatives. Sure it might go on forever, but that's what the convention is all about.

It's official, she nominated Obama.

Now, anyone left in the PUMA or Dems for McCain camp is a traitor to her.

Clearly Hillary has joined the DNC's undemocratic and inherently misogynistic conspiracy to deny Hillary the nomination. Bastards! Is there anyone they haven't gotten to?

LOL. @22 for the win.

NO, Annie. No, NO, NO! Don't you say "Hot" for Nebraska's unicameral house of law! That's not hot! That's a violation of all that is right and good- an abomination before all gods everywhere.

Don't you celebrate their Nebraskan tomfoolery, Annie. DON'T EVEN.
