Girl, if your precious gymnasts even looked like they heard the music while they were doing their floor routines, then your point would stand. As it is, your deafsters are about as “synchronized” to their music as baseball players to their at-bat theme songs.

This is the first time I've ever wished for video on a podcast. With rasslin'.

I don't think either of your events reaches the heights of absurdity that racewalking does, with that crazy hip-rolling. And I say that as a former competitive racewalker (high school German class, Dallas, TX, before any of you were born).

I actually caught a bit of the racewalking on TV last night - it still looks just as nutty as it did in that film in the 60s set in Japan did.

As opposed to the women's BMX races - now those were cool!
