BTW the VP teasing is good for getting more e mail addresses but not much else and it will be forgotten as soon as VP choice is made; meanwhile it is obsuring his economic message which is needed to get the swing voters on board.

This cyberspace election is the first one where the selection of a Veep candidate has stirred up so much anticipatory, tea leaf reading. And in my long political life, I have never known anyone that was committed to a specific candidate NOT vote for that candidate because of his Veep selection.
