Senator Kerry has a lot to offer Senator Obama. I don't get the negative reactions here or on Drudge. Senator Kerry is an intelligent, serious and honest politician. He got smeared in 2004 very unfairly, but came closer than any other candidate in our history to unseating a war time president. Lets face some truth here, Kerry had a difficult race to win, the media bias, the powerful Bush machine, the fear tactics of the administration and a Democrat party headed by many Clinton supporters that just sat back and did nothing to help defend him. We weren't expected to win in 2004 and the party behaved in that way. In my opinion, losing a tough race should not mean that Senator Kerry is not electable. Many of our best leaders have lost tough races in their lives and have come back to be bigger and better the second or even third time out.
As for the Republican's being able to attack him- please, that is all old news and people are not going to listen to this BS this time out, expecially since it is our candidate for President that will be the focus of attention.
