2008 Ignore Melissa Etheridge, Listen to Harry Reid

onI wasn’t listening to Melissa Etheridge—I was reading this intriguing profile of Obama by Jodi Kantor at the New York Times. It’s got a lot of detail I hadn’t heard before.
Meanwhile, Harry Reid is giving a speech that one of the journalists down in the area we’ve been banished from criticized immediately upon receiving the transcript a couple of hours ago. She said it sounded like at thesis. I don’t know. I like it. Can’t the convention throw a little bone to scientists and nerds?

at thesis? you mean a thesis, right?
underfunding of both science and geek tech has been common during the last eight years of our nation's decline.
not to mention the lack of native-grown engineers. too many lawyers ... (oops, sorry, didn't mean you, annie)
Good lord - there was nothing nerdy about it. It was simply dry and poorly presented, oh and it had some substance in the way of policy. Has it come to this, that after all the emotion and human interest, policy seems like nerdiness? What is this game about again?
Harry Reid couldn't make a letter to Penthouse sound interesting.
