Comments on Headline of the Day

I was going to first say that the headline sufficiently tells you everything you want to know, but I then noticed the word "Australia" in your post, and knew that the headline would only barely scratch the surface of this man's glorious adventure.

This makes me feel I'm not doing enough with my life.

Totally made me flash back to opening scene of Mad Max. This guy is a real-life Night Rider.

"Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome" was in fact filmed in part around Coober Pedy, which is arguably the most horrible town on the face of the earth. It's so hot -- 120-130 degrees -- that everybody lives underground in houses carved out of the rock, including the supermarkets and stuff, while the surface is nothing but slag heaps left over from opal mining.

You are right it is a good headline but it would have made a great headline about a week ago when it was first mentioned in the Slog. Keep looking you have a few more hours.
