All big time sports are corrupt.

Junior varsity is kind of fun. High School varsity can be okay if it isn't the kind of school that talent scouts show up at. After that, it's all drugs, cheating, exploitation, taxpayer shakedowns, and lies. Athletes are horrible role models.

Yes yes, you're all hip little kids who are 2kool4skool and are obligated to hate whatever is popular. As an ex-competitive-swimmer, what Phelps has achieved is really quite remarkable and the guy has worked much harder than any of you. He has spent years achieving this, but all you asshats who haven't had the cojones to pursue your dreams will of course hate those who are successful. No one gives 2 shits about you.

The Olympics IS a snooze...except for men's gymnastics, swimming, diving and wrestling...and women's gymnastics.

Basically, anything involving exposed washboard abs, tightly leotarded groins or adorably overmuscled pixie girls who could break your neck between their mighty thighs is worth watching.

Fun fact: nobody cares about the Olympics, except the Chinese government and apparently, the news media.

If I hadn't turned on the TV and radio a few times lately, I wouldn't know it was happening. No one is talking about it (or the election) that I ever encounter.

These Olympics really don't have enough corporate signage behind all the events. Kinda creeps me out, after so many Olympics with a Coke sign in the back ground of every shot. Gives me flashbacks to when those Warsaw Pact nations hosted.

The Canucks really do have superior TV coverage.
