Now Obama has to keep this up right until November; AND he needs to overshadow McCain the week of the GOP Convention. Obama, if he is shrewd enough, needs to steal the spotlight the week of the GOP convention and prevent McCain from getting a bump coming out of his convention.

Obama: TAKE MCCAIN OUT!!!! No mercy!!!

I always love that photo of McCain hugging George W. Bush. Always makes me chuckle.

The best way to handle a rage-filled octogenarian like McCain is to slap him down repeatedly.

The problem with this is...

many Americans aspire to wealth.

They'd rather be associated with the winners than the losers.

@8

many americans would rather associate with wealthy folks that earned their wealth.

born into and married into, not so much.

hmmm, we apire to elitism, yet despise elitism.

The "how many homes" thing is a tangential "soft" gaffe from McCain. Like Hillary's sniper fire or Obama's "clinging to religion" remarks. They're not really the things people make their election decisions about.

So what, in raindrop-world, do people make their decisions about?

I was an active member of the democratic party in Florida for eight years, and now I'm a very active member of the democratic party in Illinois (but still vote in Florida, because it actually means something). It's about fucking time they did something.

@10 - Are you fucking kidding me? This is EXACTLY the type of thing that millions of Americans will take in to consideration when they vote. Remember Dukakis and the tank?

The first one is great.

The second one, although it makes good points, comes across as amateurish and lame. They need to up the production values.

Will is a solipsist, in that literally everything reminds him of himself, in such a way that he is unable to distinguish between anecdotes that make sense or at least refer to the subject at hand and those that do not -- it's all the same to him. So you say "booger" and he says "that reminds me, my grandfather was Scottish, and had a big nose, and some people thought he was Jewish, which is racist", which makes sense to him, but not to anyone else. He is also astoundingly judgmental, so it further occurs to him that being reminded of something racist that may or may not have occurred, the correct response to "booger" is "you are a racist". It's like a short circuit, that bypasses all of the affective parts of the brain in a normal person.
