It's easy for home town hero's who know the joke of the week to slide in an easy essay to please the boss.
Why should Art care what I say anyway?
I'm just a hot head 45 year old rock and roller from way back and he's a slick newspaper writer with years of credibility.
Of course, if I were a street fighter, wede be out in Amboy Duke Land and he would be asking me if I spelled the name of Ted's first band correctly while he got his clock cleaned.
Thank the rock and roll gods we aren't young like that anymore and we can "temper" our steals.
A message to Art....
I spent a few quite moments thinking about our American economy and the world economy and decided that if I couldn't reach as high as Yao Ming or jump as far up as Lauren Jackson, the least I could do to support my rock and roll dreamers was to climb up on a pallet board and put the Olympic pin in the telephone pole at the Ballard food bank to show support for all those in another country working and enjoying the fruits of the labor of many years of Olympic history in the world.
Apparently, what's good for American pride isn't as good for Chinese nationalism...
or the British Invasion.
