I didn't hear any "I'm old, and I approve this message." thinger at the end...

you know, end times evangelicals WANT obama to be the president/antichrist - it gets them that much closer to the rapture.

They should have used Hillary's bit about the clouds opening up and hosts of angels singing.

The GOP is royally fucked this year.

That cannot be real. This is a joke, right?

So... this is supposed to HELP Obama, right? Or hurt him? I can't really tell. Except the Antichrist overtones are more likely to get evangelicals to vote for him, not less.

So, "Barack Obama is the one," but I shouldn't vote for him? Instead of being excited about a candidate, I should toss that aside and vote for the guy that died 12 years ago?

This doesn't make any sense. They show images of excitement and joy and then say, "Have you heard about the elderly man who's running? He's not exciting, but he sure is ready!"

@3 - he forgot to say it. That's how old he is.

"McCain - vote for disappointment, not hope!"

Oh man. Is this a coded message to the people who GENUINELY BELIEVE that Obama is the Antichrist?

yeah, this made me want to vote for obama even more than before. and i'm not so sure that when your trying to reach a generally religious audience that invoking moses (or charleton heston, not sure who they were aiming for) in a negative way is such a smooth move.

You gotta love that gospel-y music and what looks like stock footage of civil rights demonstrations in the beginning. The black people are excited! Run away!

The ad includes Charlton Heston as Moses? How many sharks can you jump in one week?

What we're seeing is the handiwork of Karl Rove protegé Steve Schmidt, I'm sure.

Jon Stewart can just go ahead and fire The Daily Show writers, the McCain camp is supplying material for free.

Messiah fixations are Republican. So is the complete mess they made of everything in this country. Yeah, we have hope that we can end the destruction of all the things we hold dear. McCain is the anti-Obama. "And lo,ye shall know the destroyers of good for their names are Republicans"
