How do we know she isn't white?

I mean seriously, according to the NIH/NIA standards, the vast and overwhelming majority of Hispanics are White Hispanics, not Asian Hispanics or any of the other categories.

Besides, how can you be a "minority" when you represent a group that will be 52 percent of America by 2025?

My dear Holden,

As far as I'm concerned, this dumb girl should be quietly escorted out of the gene pool but -- and I have no facts at my fingertips here, I'm totally winging this -- my perception is that it *seems* that often juves are charged as adults, especially when the crime is as heinous as murder, rape, etc.

And I've never understood why that is. Is a child suddenly more mature because they've killed? Seems to me it's compelling evidence that they have not. Prosecutorial grandstanding? Maybe an eye for an eye / pound of flesh thing?

It seems strange that this is allowed to occur in the name of societal revenge, but I guess that's why they call them "guidelines."

Good day to you, sir.

Kids doing stupid things. Adults are the ones who should have more sense and not treat errors in judgement as a life sentence. There was no malice affore thought.
