I may actually go to this. I love clams, and I often find myself enjoying foods/establishments that snotty bitches here in Seattle hate.

Dog Chow Foods is a more apt description...but you have to hand it to them for being ridiculously successful when the food and service are so mediocre...

Basically, they're just Dennys with better lighting, prettier waiters and bland, yupped up American diner/bistro food...

I'm hoping for the clams to be shaved

Though it deeply saddens me that Guinness discontinued its food eating records in 1990 (before i could break the tortilla eating record), the standing record is 424 razor clams in 8 min. You up for it Mr. Poe?

That does sound good. I hope they're Manillas as far as eating 100 goes. I've ko'd 5 dozen oysters in a single sitting. Full on raw oysters is a rare moment. They better give you a prize for eating 100 clams. I mean besides a glass of butter to wash 'em down.

@7, Juif, I will prepare them for you both...fresh razor clam cut from the shell, dredged in butter and flour/salt/pepper, lightly pan fried and drizzled in lemon juice. To your taste, sirs?

@9 Thanks Cornaball, but you'll have to clear that with my social coordinator.
